Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence
One step from lashing out at you
You want in to get under my skin
And call yourself a friend
I've got more friends like you
What do I do?
Is there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of time
RE - SPECT - WALK!
What did you say?
RE - SPECT - WALK!
Are you talkin' to me?!
Are you talkin' to me?!
Run your mouth when I'm not around
It's easy to achieve
You cry to weak friends that sympathize
Can you hear the violins playing your song?
Those same friends tell me your every word
Is there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of time
RE - SPECT - WALK!
What did you say?
RE - SPECT - WALK!
Are you talkin' to me?!
RE - SPECT - WALK!
What did you say?
RE - SPECT - WALK!
Are you talkin' to me?!
Are you talkin' to me?!
No way punk!
RE - SPECT - WALK!
What did you say?
RE - SPECT - WALK!
Are you talkin' to me?!
RE - SPECT - WALK!
What did you say?
RE - SPECT - WALK!
Are you talkin' to me?!
Are you talkin' to me?!
Walk on home, boy!

HISTORY -
Theodore Rawlings was actually born Theodore Thompson, as Thompson was his birth parents' names. Though his father, Tommy Thompson, was in with the "bad" side of business and got wound up in a vicious circle of money and lies. Tommy Thompson was a scientist with a major pharmaceutical conglomerate. The big wigs were wanting a sort of super soldier serum a-la Captain America, only better. Decades of testing, work and progress hung in the balance as Tommy's experimenting began. Though, as with all interesting stories, everything went wrong. There was an explosion in the lab that nearly destroyed the entire room. The room's load-bearing wall was knocked out and the ceiling came down on Tommy Thompson. He barely survived.
The big wigs were furious and decided to visit Tommy in the hospital. There, in discussion, they discovered that Tommy's wife, Lora, knew about the project. They killed Tommy in the hospital, paying to cover everything up, and then went to his house and killed his wife. The big wigs found that they had a son, Theodore, and took him.
Teddy was put into an orphanage, run and funded by the pharmaceutical company. The kids here were subjected to the tests the company had for their drugs. Teddy was no exception. Teddy grew up here for a few years, until he was about 16. It was at this time that Teddy got his tattooes and his piercing. When another group of scientists approached the company big wigs with their interest in continuing Tommy Thompson's work, the big wigs found it only fitting that Teddy be the test subject...and not some lab rats. They figured that a human test would display better results than a non-human subject.
Put to it against Teddy's will, he was strapped down and the testing for the super soldier serum ensued. Though at the time there were a few of the pharmaceutical's drugs still in his system, something that the testers were supposed to prevent, but were in too much of a hurry to test to make sure. They began injecting him with the serum they had created, believing it to be very close, if not identical, to the original Captain America serum. The serum began to mix and interact with the medication in Teddy's system and this caused a super chain reaction throughout his entire body. A part of the serum formula was correct, and mixed with the medication...it was boosted. The formula strengthened the density in Teddy's bones, muscles and nerves over fifteen times. He did not, however, gain any other advantage from the serum. The transformation hurt Teddy, and his screams prompted the scientists to halt the process. They took him down and sent him back to the orphanage. The next day, Teddy discovered his newfound powers...and escaped.
Not too long after that, he was picked up by the police and processed, the orphanage of course denied any knowledge of the boy, and so one of the officers at the station, who sympahtized with him, offered to give Teddy a place to stay for the night. Teddy quickly fell in love with the home, and grew to like the people within. So, the Rawlings family adopted Teddy into their happy little family. An investigation was executed into the orphanage, and the cover was blown quickly. The big wigs, the orphanage managers and the scientists were arrested and the truth about Teddy's parents was revealed. No longer were they killed in a plane crash coming back from an exotic vacation.... The pharmaceutical company was shut down. Out of gratitude, Teddy confessed his invulnerability to his Foster family with their promise that they wouldn't turn him in, or do any tests...that they just accept him.
Teddy has spent his life since then living with his new family, and they've treated him lovingly. Mark, Jennifer, little baby Jessica and the family dog Buster the bulldog...they all have accepted Teddy into their lives.

Jennifer Vesmer: Teddy... they're unarmed civilians... how could you do that to them Teddy? *Reaching up, she'd touch his face* Please... please stop, for me, stop.... your mind's playing tricks on you... If... if you don't stop, they'll kill both of us just to stop you... they will... please... *Looking at the orderly, she'd feel a horrible pain in her side* Please.... Teddy, STOP. Teddy Rawlings: *His face is somewhat blank, except for the expression previously mentioned. He doesn't hear her words...that wall is coming up awful fast...and then...CRASH!!!. They collide with the wall at the t-junction. Teddy slams into the bed and flips over it, hitting the wall barely and falling onto the bed, then slumping to the floor. Goodness knows what happens to the bed and Jennifer, but at the moment, Teddy is frantically looking for his gun..* No! Oh no, oh no! Shit shit shit! *Relatively unharmed, due to his metahuman enhancements, Teddy gets to his feet quickly...only to see a large group of tactically-armed men blocking the hallway ahead. Teddy raises his gun and pulls the trigger...but he's out of ammunition. Teddy whirls around to find the same thing presenting at the hallway behind him. The only way out is the dead end hallway they just came from. Jennifer might recognize the men that have them surrounded as those who have been in opposition to Dracula...and who turned Jennifer back to human. Teddy, however, sees something different..* DIE, YOU MONSTER SCUM!! *He throws his pistol down the hall at one of the groups and draws two silver stakes, holding them in his hands upside-down, waiting for a fight. But the men do nothing but keep the two in their scopes..* Jennifer Vesmer: *She'd be tossed up and off the bed, slamming into a wall hard, she'd slide down, her stitches ripped partially... she was bleeding out, and in severe pain.* I'll die before I let you take me again.. *She'd be crawling now, towards her gun, her hand reaching out for it, she'd take hold of it tightly, 'til her knuckles turned white.* Goodbye Teddy... *Things were getting blurry again... back in the alleyway.... back in the dark... her mind drifted....* Teddy Rawlings: I wouldn't pull that trigger if I were you, young lady. *A voice comes from the second group of battle-ready men. Teddy whips around again to see a new man standing there in front of the line, his hands calmly clasped behind his back. Teddy blinks, confused, and the man speaks again..* We can help you. A fantastic specimen. He, however, is done for. *The man nods, surprisingly, at Teddy. Should Jennifer look at Teddy, she might notice his heavy stance, unbalanced and awkward. His hands hold the stakes lazily and his eyes have trouble staying open. Sweat pours down his face and his open mouth hints at his heavy breathing. Now, if Jennifer had her vampire senses still, she would definitely take note of Teddy's fast-paced, short and rapid breaths...and his super-accelerated heartbeat, like a machine gun in his chest..* See? He actually served a purpose...you should be proud. Jennifer Vesmer: Please... save him... *She'd cock the gun* Or... your specimen's gone... *Her hands coming up, the cannon would point up, ready to blast her brains out* Save him... and I'll go with you... I'll put the weapon down.... or... you.... can wait for me to bleed out or blow my skull off.... I don't care if you want to help me... please, help him... *She'd be dizzy now, the morphine still pumping through her veins, her blood flowing... she could barely hold up the gun.* Teddy Rawlings: *The man nods once back to his men, and a medical team of two tactical men with a case appear among them..* Slide us the gun and we'll help him. Choose quickly now... *Just as the man says all this, Teddy finally buckles and collapses heavily to the floor with a skull-cracking thud..* ...he doesn't have much time. *A malicious smile creeps onto the man's bespectacled face as he watches Teddy's back rise and fall with his rapid-fire breathing. Teddy's fingers claw fruitlessly, slowly, at the floor as an actual pain begins to bang in his chest. It feels like his heart is going to explode from all the strain it's under..* Jennifer Vesmer: *She'd hesitate only for a second before putting it down and sliding it over.* Help him... please. *She'd slink down to the floor now, her stab wound almost fully opened.* Teddy.. listen to me. Just listen.... stay with me... *Her voice would be getting softer though.... she was running out of time.* Teddy Rawlings: *The man nods once again...and the medical team comes over to Jennifer, not Teddy. They'll start working on patching her up, so they don't lose her. She'd be too weak to fight back anyway. And the man continues speaking..* Yes, talk to him. Tell him everything you need to while you still can. *Finally, he moves. The man walks slowly, calmly, over to the pair of "heroes," his hands still held behind his back..* Finally...a way to take down the Invulnerable. Can't hit him... *He'd kick Teddy in the side somewhat roughly, somewhat half-assedly..* Can't shoot 'im. *He brings one hand forward, revealing a total hand canon-sized revolver...which he uses to pop a round into Teddy's back. It only ricochets off wildly down the hall..* You can't kill him! But...we found a way.... *Teddy groans audibly, in considerable pain - not from the damage the man is trying to inflict on him, but from his heart and lungs and head..* Kill him from the inside. *He kneels down next to Teddy's head and places his other, gloved hand on the back of it, shaking his head lightly..* Jennifer Vesmer: *She'd start crying softly, trying to rip at her own stitches in vain as she's held down by the medical staff without too much trouble* Teddy... I love you... please, please don't die on me... not now. *She'd struggle as much as she could, make herself as much of a pain as she could.... she'd fight with every last ounce of strength to get back to Teddy.* What... who are you people, what do you want from us now? Leave us alone... please, leave us alone... Teddy Rawlings: Ha! You'll know soon. Once the hallucinogenic poison has take care of our young friend here.... *Teddy groans again, in more pain...and he seems to have a moment of clarity, for he looks over at Jennifer, meeting her eyes, and reaches out for her hand. He can barely keep his gaze straight, though, from all the activity in his head..* J-Jen-n...Jen...Je-Je-Jen-n... *He tries speaking in between his quick, sharp intakes of air, which is extremely difficult. The men would have little trouble keeping Jennifer from harming herself any further as they inject further calming drugs into her system, aiming to eventually just knock her out..* You remember this, Miss Vesmer. What we're capable of. Remeber this and cooperate. *The man says coldly as he turns his gaze back down to Teddy...and watches as the boy's free hand clenches suddenly into a fist..* Ghk! *Then...he goes limp, his head sliding to the side and his open eyes glazing..* Remember this. Jennifer Vesmer: *She'd fade in and out, her eyes wildly moving from side to side trying to focus... then, simply trying to stay open... she'd fail.* Teddy... stay.... stay with..me... *She'd be put to sleep, her conciousness going back into the 'coma' state she was in before.... She felt nothing, heard nothing, thought nothing....*
Teddy's heart stopped that night...and he was technically dead for two and a half minutes. But then, due possibly to his invulnerability factor, his heart somehow rebooted...and he lived again. However, when he came to, Jennifer and the men around him were gone. People and employees returning to the building after all the chaos tried to take Teddy down and keep him for police, saying that he killed many people - which is true - but Teddy was able to escape. He's been on the run since...hunting down the men from the organization who did this to him and Jennifer.

POWERS
-
Teddy is nearly completely invulnerable. He is a normal human being besides his invulnerability. He is physically invulnerable and is still susceptable to internal illness, mental damage and, sadly, emotional tragedy. He wouldn't be a teenager if he couldn't do that. He has a resistance to pain, meaning that his nervous system is somewhat invulnerable as well, and he only feels pain from the more heavy hits. In a meeting with Supergirl, he took a 5 ton-plus punch to the face and felt minor pain equivilent to a normal human taking a normal punch to the face.
His power, however, hinders him from furthering his tattoo collection, as no needle can puncture his skin. Hell, no bullet can puncture his skin. He couldn't get tattooed by a howitzer if he wanted to. This is something he's continually upset about. Teddy is rather proud that his initials before his adoption were "TAT," and frequently talked about getting himself tattooes.
Teddy, however invulnerable, needs to breathe. He cannot survive underwater without breathing, nor in space. He is immune to physical injury, but is still able to be poisoned, drowned (or otherwise suffocated/asphyxiated), starved, bled to death (if you can get him to bleed), mind altered and drained. He is immune to the physical effects of radiation, external and internal, but not any of its other effects.
Another little downfall of Teddy's ability is that it's made him arrogant. It's made him a little rough and impulsive. He figures he can't get hurt so he normally jumps into situations head-first, not thinking at all about the consequences. He hasn't yet confronted a problem he couldn't necessarily get around...or through...and he's very confident in his invulnerability, to the point where he'll fight over it.
TATS
Teddy has three tattoos:
- One on his right pectoral muscle. This is the chinese symbol for strength.
- One on his left forearm, on the underside, just below the elbow. This is a nautical star.
- The last is on his stomach, just above the navel. This one is two words, one above the other, curving around the outside of the navel that read "Avenged Sevenfold."
He also has a pierced lip, his lower lip on the left side is pierced with a spike-ended ring. The tats and piercing were gotten before he got his powers.
OTHER
-
Teddy's adopted mother, Jennifer Rawlings, is the head of marketing and sales for the local Apple company branch, and she owns a talent agency, to which Teddy belongs. Teddy has a passion for acting, and is actually pretty skilled. He made Supergirl believe she had nearly killed him with a punch of hers, but was actually just acting. He has starred in a few of the Apple iPod commercials as one of the shadowed dancing people with the white iPod, and one of the Motorola iTunes phones commercials. He always carries an iPod around with him, and has a constant supply of them, even though his activities having to do with his invulnerability - i.e. jumping off of buildings - usually result in the breaking of these iPods. Teddy's adoptive father is a local police officer.
Teddy's an exceptional singer and enjoys singing metal, punk metal, post-hardcore, some screamo, punk rock, rock and roll, progressive and sometimes pop rock...he's almost always singing something. His favorite bands consist of Avenged Sevenfold, Bullets and Octane, Godsmack, Disturbed, System Of A Down, Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds to Mars, Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Yellowcard, Thrice, Trapt, U2, Velvet Revolver, Tool, A Perfect Circle and many, many more.
"Just Stop"
Disturbed
Just stop enough of the limitless critical comments on my life
Just stop the judgment and all of your pseudo-involvement in my life
Step back a moment, and look at the miracle starting in our life
Don't stop the moment, and let the incredible happen knowing that
All that you want is to criticize
Something for nothing
And all that I want is forgiveness one more time
To be the best in the world
Just stop with all of your little deliberate problems with my life
Enough of all the crippling, terrible pain we feel inside
Step back a moment, remember how the miracle started in our life
Take back the torment; I won't be enjoying this moment knowing that
All that you want is to criticize
Something for nothing
And all that I want is forgiveness one more time
I know that
All that we want is to feel inside
Some kind of comfort
And all that we've done
We can hide
We'll be the best in the world
All I ever wanted was to be a real source of compassion
From the moment that we found ourselves drowning and...
